Are the PDF tools really free?
Yes. All 24 tools are free to use, with no added watermarks or per-use charges.
Where do my files go?
Your document contents are processed in this browser and are never sent to a processing server. UrPDFkit does not save your files or document history. Download your results before closing or refreshing the page.
Can I use large or password-protected PDFs?
Limits vary by tool: split and merge support up to 150 MB total, compression up to 100 MB, and other tools up to 50 MB per task. Files are processed on your device, so large PDFs may use substantial memory or run slowly. Image conversion and compression support up to 100 pages per task. Password-protected PDFs need to be unlocked before use.
What should I know about compression?
Compression recreates pages as JPEG images. It works best for scanned or image-heavy PDFs and removes selectable text, links, interactive forms, and accessibility tags. Keep your original. If compression doesn't make the file smaller, we'll tell you.
Can I edit text or convert PDFs to Word?
Yes. PDF to Word exports selectable text to an editable DOCX. Word to PDF reflows DOCX text and images; complex layouts are not preserved. English OCR reads scanned pages. Add text places a new overlay without rewriting existing text.
Can every watermark be removed?
The watermark remover removes complete, exact matching text blocks in supported PDFs. It cannot remove watermarks embedded in scans, images or outlines. Matching body text is also removed, so review every output page.
